Despite Lester's long-suffering PA, Duane, doing a sterling job on this, Lester had demanded that we cast Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude van Damme and, strangely, W C Fields. He refused to understand we had neither the budget, nor the ability to reanimate the corpses of long-dead actors....
